Last updated: 10 September 2026

Welcome to Crafty Online Namibia.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.crafty.com.na and the services provided through the Crafty Online Namibia platform.

By accessing, registering on or using Crafty Online Namibia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or its services.

1. About Crafty Online Namibia

Crafty Online Namibia (“Crafty Online”, “Crafty”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides an online platform through which individuals and businesses can advertise, discover, promote, buy and sell crafts, handmade products and other permitted goods or services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Crafty Online provides the platform through which users connect and is not the seller, manufacturer or supplier of products advertised by independent sellers.

A seller remains responsible for the products, services, information and representations contained in their listings.

2. Definitions

For these Terms:

Account means a registered user account on Crafty Online Namibia.

Buyer means a person who enquires about or purchases a product or service advertised through the platform.

Content means text, photographs, graphics, descriptions, listings, reviews, messages and other material submitted to or displayed on the website.

Listing means an advertisement, product, service or other offer published through Crafty Online Namibia.

Seller means a person or business that creates or manages a listing or offers goods or services through the platform.

Service means the website, marketplace and related services provided by Crafty Online Namibia.

User, You or Your means anyone accessing or using Crafty Online Namibia, including buyers and sellers.

Website means www.crafty.com.na.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to independently create an account, publish listings or enter into transactions through Crafty Online Namibia.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete and current.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • activity occurring through your account;
  • keeping your contact and account information accurate; and
  • notifying Crafty Online Namibia if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or business, or use an account for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a risk to Crafty Online Namibia or its users.

4. Marketplace Role

Crafty Online Namibia provides a platform that enables buyers and sellers to discover and communicate with one another.

Unless Crafty Online Namibia specifically identifies itself as the seller of a particular item, transactions advertised or arranged through the platform are between the buyer and the independent seller.

Crafty Online Namibia does not automatically become a party to a transaction merely because the product or seller was discovered through our website.

Sellers are responsible for their own products, pricing, descriptions, availability, delivery arrangements, warranties, returns, refunds and compliance with applicable laws.

Buyers are responsible for assessing listings and sellers and for making reasonable enquiries before entering into a transaction.

5. Seller Responsibilities

A seller using Crafty Online Namibia must ensure that:

  • all listing information is accurate and not misleading;
  • photographs reasonably represent the product being advertised;
  • pricing and other material conditions are clearly communicated;
  • the seller has the legal right to sell or advertise the item;
  • products comply with applicable Namibian laws;
  • the listing does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • the seller communicates honestly with prospective buyers; and
  • the seller fulfills transactions and commitments made to buyers.

Sellers may not deliberately misrepresent the origin, quality, condition, authenticity or availability of a product.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers should review listings carefully before purchasing or making payment.

Buyers are responsible for:

confirming product details where necessary;

  • confirming pricing and delivery arrangements;
  • checking seller information where appropriate;
  • providing accurate delivery and contact information;
  • making payment using agreed and lawful methods; and
  • communicating honestly with sellers.

Where a transaction takes place directly between a buyer and an independent seller, any product-specific dispute should ordinarily first be raised directly with that seller.

7. Listings

Crafty Online Namibia may establish rules concerning the format, categories, images, descriptions and other information contained in listings.

We reserve the right to reject, edit, suspend or remove a listing where we reasonably believe that it:

  • breaches these Terms;
  • is misleading or fraudulent;
  • contains unlawful material;
  • infringes intellectual property rights;
  • presents a security or safety risk;
  • is placed in an inappropriate category;
  • contains offensive or abusive content;
  • promotes prohibited products or activities; or
  • could reasonably harm Crafty Online Namibia, its users or the public.

Publication of a listing does not constitute an endorsement, certification or guarantee of the seller or product by Crafty Online Namibia.

8. Prohibited Products and Activities

Users may not use Crafty Online Namibia to advertise, sell, promote or facilitate unlawful goods, services or activities.

This includes products or content that:

  • are prohibited by Namibian law;
  • are stolen or obtained unlawfully;
  • infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights;
  • are counterfeit or deliberately misrepresented;
  • promote fraud or deceptive practices;
  • contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory or obscene material;
  • exploit or endanger children;
  • unlawfully disclose another person’s private information; or
  • otherwise expose Crafty Online Namibia or its users to unreasonable legal or safety risks.

Crafty Online Namibia may remove content or suspend accounts where prohibited activity is reasonably suspected.

Where required by law, suspected unlawful activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

9. Pricing, Packages and Fees

Crafty Online Namibia may offer free and paid listings, subscriptions, packages, promotional services or other paid features.

Current prices and package features will be displayed on the website or communicated before purchase.

Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in Namibian Dollars (N$ / NAD).

Crafty Online Namibia may change its pricing, packages or features from time to time. Changes will not ordinarily affect a paid period that has already commenced unless otherwise communicated or required by law.

Users are responsible for reviewing the applicable package, duration, features and price before making payment.

10. Payments

Where Crafty Online Namibia processes payment for subscriptions, advertising, listings or other platform services, users must provide accurate payment information and use a lawful payment method.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Where payments for goods are made directly between a buyer and seller outside Crafty Online Namibia’s payment systems, Crafty Online Namibia does not control that payment and cannot guarantee its completion or recovery.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds relating to Crafty Online Namibia’s own paid platform services will be considered in accordance with the applicable package conditions and Namibian law.

Refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations relating to products purchased from independent sellers are primarily the responsibility of the relevant seller, subject to any rights available to the buyer under applicable law.

Sellers should clearly communicate their applicable delivery, cancellation, return and refund conditions to buyers.

12. User Content

Users may be permitted to upload photographs, descriptions, logos, reviews, comments and other Content.

You retain ownership of Content that you own.

By uploading Content to Crafty Online Namibia, you grant Crafty Online Namibia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, resize, format and use that Content to:

  • operate the platform;
  • display your listings;
  • promote your listings;
  • promote Crafty Online Namibia and its marketplace; and
  • provide and improve our services.

This licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant services and does not transfer ownership of your Content to Crafty Online Namibia.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and use the Content you submit.

13. Intellectual Property

Except for Content belonging to users or third parties, the Crafty Online Namibia website and its original content, branding, design, graphics, software and functionality are owned by or licensed to Crafty Online Namibia and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website for its intended personal or business marketplace purposes.

Without our written permission, you may not:

  • copy or reproduce substantial portions of the website;
  • sell or sublicense Crafty Online Namibia’s proprietary content;
  • use our branding in a manner that implies endorsement or affiliation;
  • attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the website’s technology; or
  • systematically extract website data for unauthorized commercial purposes.

14. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that a listing or other Content on Crafty Online Namibia infringes your copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, contact us with sufficient information to identify:

  • the protected work or right;
  • the allegedly infringing Content;
  • the location of that Content on Crafty Online Namibia;
  • your contact information; and
  • the basis on which you claim the relevant rights.

We may remove or restrict Content while investigating a reasonable complaint.

15. Reviews, Comments and Communications

Where users can submit reviews, comments or other public Content, that Content represents the views of the person who submitted it and not necessarily the views of Crafty Online Namibia.

Users must not submit Content that is knowingly false, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful or intended to harass another person.

Crafty Online Namibia reserves the right to moderate or remove Content that breaches these Terms.

16. Fraud and User Safety

Users should exercise reasonable care when dealing with people they meet through an online marketplace.

Crafty Online Namibia cannot guarantee the identity, reliability or intentions of every user.

Users should be cautious about:

  • unusually large or unexpected payments;
  • requests to send money before verifying a seller;
  • suspicious payment confirmations;
  • requests for passwords or security codes;
  • communications that attempt to move transactions to suspicious platforms; and
  • offers that appear unrealistic or misleading.

If you suspect fraudulent activity involving Crafty Online Namibia, please report it to us.

17. Privacy

Your use of Crafty Online Namibia is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, stored, disclosed and protected.

By using the website, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.

18. Third-Party Websites and Services

Crafty Online Namibia may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, payment providers or other external services.

We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Accessing a third-party service is at your own discretion and may be subject to that provider’s own terms.

19. Website Availability

We aim to keep Crafty Online Namibia available and functioning reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, internet outages, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may change, update, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

20. Disclaimer

Crafty Online Namibia provides its marketplace and website on a reasonable-efforts basis.

While we may take reasonable steps to moderate the platform, we do not independently verify every listing, product, seller, buyer, statement or image published by users.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions and transactions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Namibian law.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crafty Online Namibia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss resulting from:

  • transactions between independent buyers and sellers;
  • inaccurate or misleading user listings;
  • actions of other users;
  • third-party services;
  • unauthorized access caused by a user’s failure to protect their credentials; or
  • interruptions or failures outside our reasonable control.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Crafty Online Namibia against reasonable claims, losses or expenses arising directly from:

  • Content you upload;
  • products or services you advertise or sell;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your infringement of another person’s rights; or
  • your unlawful use of the platform.

23. Suspension and Termination

Crafty Online Namibia may suspend, restrict or terminate an account or remove Content where we reasonably believe that a user:

  • has breached these Terms;
  • is engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
  • poses a security or safety risk;
  • repeatedly receives legitimate complaints;
  • infringes third-party rights; or
  • is abusing or interfering with the platform.

Where appropriate, we may provide the user with an opportunity to explain or remedy the issue.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension or termination.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.

The updated Terms will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of Crafty Online Namibia after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to any requirements imposed by applicable law.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.

Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website or the services provided by Crafty Online Namibia will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Namibia, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific conditions applicable to a paid package or service, constitute the agreement between you and Crafty Online Namibia concerning your use of the platform.
